Seneca Program: Government Relations , Public Relations - Corporate Communications
Degree: Master’s in Strategic Public Relations or Master’s in Political Management
George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) will provide an opportunity for graduates of Seneca’s Public Relations – Corporate Communications and Government Relations postgraduate certificate programs to enter their Master’s in Strategic Public Relations or Master’s in Political Management with advanced standing. GWU offers both an online and a Washington, D.C.-based program option.
Both programs produce the same degree and have equal standing, and both are options for Seneca’s graduates. Graduates of the above Seneca program who obtain an overall cumulative minimum GPA of 3.3, in addition to obtaining at least a B in each of their classes and meet all outlined admission criteria for GW/GSPM, will be eligible to receive six credit hours of advanced standing upon acceptance. Students will be required to undertake an additional 24 credits (eight courses) for the Master’s in Strategic Public Relations and an additional 30 credits (10 courses) to complete the Master’s in Political Management. Students must also maintain good academic standing to complete the GW Master’s degree program. Students must obtain a letter of recommendation from their Seneca program co-ordinator to be eligible to pursue this pathway.
