Meet the Fall 2017 Valedictorians

Alexander Chu

Alexander is graduating from the Opticianry diploma program. He has a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Wilfrid Laurier University. Before enrolling at Seneca, he taught English in Taiwan for eight years. When his father asked Alexander to help out in the family optical business, he decided to attend Seneca as preparation for his new career. He had a positive educational experience at Seneca, while working full time at the store. Alexander will continue his family tradition in the optical industry and explore other potential future options in the field.
