Dual Credit Courses Taken

Propaganda and Persuasion, Introduction to Sociology I: Social Inequality

Why are you interested in sharing your Dual Credit experience?

I really liked the program both times I took it. I believe the Dual Credit programs provide not only fun but also highly interesting courses and experiences. I want to help inspire others to take Dual Credits and expand their learning like I have.

What did you enjoy the most about Dual Credit and your experience?

I had a really nice professor who was flexible on assignments and took time to make you understand the course. The smaller class size is great, and the professors are really into what they’re teaching!

How did Dual Credit help you prepare for postsecondary?

I’m currently still in high school but the Dual Credits I have taken have helped me realize challenges in the world and inspired me into future studies.

Dual Credit gives you a credit into college and a look into what college courses are like, how assignments are structured, how tests are done and how you are graded.

Why would you recommend Dual Credit to a current high school student? What advice would you give to a student considering taking Dual Credit?

Dual Credit gets you ahead in high school and college. The programs you can take are way beyond the limits of what high schools can offer. You don’t have to pay for them! It’s a little intimidating when you first go to campus, but you will fit in!

Is there anything else you think more people should know about Dual Credit or how it played a role in your educational journey?

The liaisons at Seneca are really nice! If you need assistance with transportation or the course outline, everyone is so willing to help you. You need to have the willpower to go through and explore that opportunity. The professors are very understanding!

By taking Dual Credit, you have nothing to lose! It’s something you can take, and you end up learning something new, meeting new people and having new experiences. It’s a great experience that isn’t worth missing out on!

I prefer how online Dual Credit courses are run rather than online high school. Checking on Blackboard was really nice and a very smooth process!
