Meet the Spring 2016 Valedictorians

Erika Manassis

Erika is graduating from the Public Relations – Corporate Communications graduate certificate program. Having already completed an undergraduate degree in gender studies at Queen’s University, Erika chose to further her education at Seneca because of the program’s strong reputation. As a student, Erika was disciplined, committed and brought a positive approach to her work, qualities that enabled her to excel as a leader. During her time at Seneca, Erika was a student representative for the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS), wrote and submitted a case study to an international public relations competition and coordinated networking opportunities for her peers. In her second semester at Seneca, Erika organized a series of ‘Lunch n’ Learn’ workshops, inviting public relations professionals to lead professional development sessions for her classmates. Erika’s dedication to her profession has led her to a coveted internship at the renowned global public relations agency Cohn & Wolfe.
